“Everything is possible” is the title of a series of works comprised of five separate video works which evolved from December 2016 until February 2022, and are connected through a deep and a potent law of cause and effect.

Through this I strive to examine the conventional and the unconventional act of exhibiting artwork and the relationship between the author, the audience and the exhibition itself. I referred each video with its predecessor so creating a new one, which I then exhibited depending on the context.

The fifth video shows the “12th HT Award” opening at MSU Zagreb. MSU and HT Croatian Contemporary Art award is the largest and most important reward for contemporary visual creativity in Croatia.

This was the first time that I applied this artwork for contest and exhibited the whole proces of work. For that occasion I placed the fifth screen so I could record the opening live and direct. The exhibition become an artwork like a live painting with real people in real ambient and with it I finished this trip.

The fourth video shows the actual exhibition opening at Greta Gallery. The aim was to show a work within a work through a time-space illusion, which was achieved by showing the first and the second work through the video projection of the staged exhibition opening, which was the only work displayed. Through the absence of any other works in the Gallery, and the absence of myself as the author, I am giving the audience the freedom of interpreting the theme of the exhibition.

The third video shows the staged opening of the solo exhibition in Greta Gallery. Consistent in the idea of unconventional way of exhibiting, two weeks before the actual opening, I organized a staged opening which was documented in the form of a video and then exhibited at the opening two weeks later – at the actual opening.

The second video shows the intervention at the opening of the “34th Youth Salon” at HDLU, where, once again, inspired by the theme of the exhibition – the relationship of the artist and the institutions – I included my video work in the exhibition, through my own organization, regardless of the standard procedure of applying one’s artwork. By doing this, I am stating my attitude towards the bureaucratic system and the artistic centers of power. This was recognized by the jury of the “34th Youth Salon” as a positive and a creative concept and I was awarded with an honorable mention and a solo exhibition in the Greta Gallery.

The first video shows an intervention at the opening of the exhibition by Denis Krašković titled “Everything is possible” at the Greta Gallery where, inspired by the title, and the insight of the similarity of my own work and the work of Denis Krašković, I embedded three of my own works in the exhibition, and proceeded to examine the reactions of the audience and the artist Denis Krašković.
