35TH YOUTH SALON
home of HDLU
2020

I am one of those people who like to collect things. These are things I usually take from the street, recognizing their potential for the making of new artworks. I have been piling them up in my workspace, where they gather dust and wait for me to recognize them again and reuse them. On this cccasion, I am moving them to the gallery space. Placed in the context of this exhibition, the items become gallery exhibits. The work is envisaged as a spatial installation made of a heap of items that relate to each other, fulfill each other, stand in contrast to each other and confirm each other. What they all have in common is that at one moment I passionately and sincerely believed in them, but somewhere along the way I changed my mind.

I CHANGED MY MIND I CHANGED MY MIND.
